Rounding off to the nearest number

 In class we have been learning about decimals and we were told to make an animation about something that we have learnt, so I decided to make an animation on how to round off decimals to the nearest number.

Polynesian Panthers

In class we learnt about the Polynesian Panthers and the dawn raids, we were asked to make a logo and answer questions about them and put it on a google slide page, so here is what I made!

In class we are reading and learning about the Twits, a book made by Roald Dahl. We were told to make an animation from one of the chapters where Mr. Twit makes Mrs. Twit fly with balloons!

 At school we have be learning about endangered animals and we can help them, we have a choice of a few animals but I chose Gorilla. This is my Gorilla report and the facts I have learnt about them.

 Today we have been learning about Orangutans and facts about them, this is an Adobe Spark page that I made! We wrote an information report and made this Adobe Spark page from everything that we learnt!

My robot

 Today in maths we have been told to make a robot from Google Draw using shapes and then print it and find 8 or more angles, this is my robot and it's angles! If you see any more angles comment down below!

My Sanctuary

Hello, Today in literacy we are learning about chimpanzees and orangutans.

We were told to make a sanctuary in Minecraft: Education Edition.

I thought of everything I needed and what an ideal living environment would look like.

What do these animals eat? What do they need to learn? I located the sanctuary in a forest because that is the habitat of these beautiful apes.

I decided to add a tree for the animals to grab fruit from, I also added bamboo and vines to climb on, and for the bigger chimps/orangutans I added a huge rock as a challenge for these animals to learn how to climb up high surfaces and get the hang of it.

Also there is a separate room full of water to drink and bathe in.

The reason we are doing all of this learning is because these animals are in danger from humans, people are using them for meat, destroying their homes and killing them.

all for their own benefits.

Orangutans

Today in literacy we are learning about orangutans and how they are now endangered because people are destroying their forests for palm oil and even killing them. We were told to make an info-graphic about these wonderful creatures and this is what I made.

Angles

 At school for the start of this term we have been learning about angles, The acute angle, The obtuse angle and the right angle.

We were given the first letter of our name on printed paper and a bunch of lines on them that we had to find angles for. Here is mine

 

If I wrote a letter to a family member at ANZAC

Hello, at school today we made a letter we would have written if we were at the ANZAC war,

Then after we made the letter in google docs we made this google slide about it, I hope you like it.....

ANZAC DAY (And more information)

Today at school we have been learning about ANZAC and we were told to make a poster that describes what happened and what it was like during the war.

 

Nervous

 For literacy we have been reading Refugee by Alan Gratz.   We looked at the main character, and picked 3 words to describe them.  I picked Isabel. For our create task, we had to use Storyboard that, and pick one of our describing words to storyboard.  We needed to think about what happened just before that scene, and just after and how we could show emotion in our characters face. I decided to pick nervous.  I showed this through when Isabel got to Miami and was nervous.
